QuickBooks Online Sync Error: Some chart of accounts of type Equity may not sync

Why the Sync Error occurs

This error occurs when an account created in PayMaker is type Equity and cannot sync to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

How to Fix the Sync Error

  1. Create the account manually in QBO
  2. Sync again

Verify that the exact name and spelling is used on QBO as is in PayMaker to ensure that the accounts linked when synced.
