QuickBooks for Windows Sync Error: Your login information has changed

Why the Sync Error occurs

This error occurs when there is a change to the login information for the user that set up the sync. If a Collaborator in the Accountant role set up the sync then updated their login information, the new credentials need to be updated in the Sync Dashboard.

How to Fix the Sync Error

  1. Open the Bill.com Sync Dashboard
  2. Select Sync profile
  3. Click Edit
  4. On Where's your QuickBooks Company File page of the Profile Editor, click Next
  5. On Enter your Bill.com user name and password page of the Profile Editor, update the information
  6. Click Next
  7. Select the PayMaker Org to sync
  8. Click Finish
