Maintaining accurate vendor information

There are times when the vendor information cannot be edited in your PayMaker account. The vendor controls and maintains their business information in their own Bill.com account if they are connected through the Bill.com Network. If the vendor information is locked, the vendor has entered the address information they want and that data is reflected in their record in your account.

The vendor's address information will be editable on your side while the invitation is pending, until an invitation is accepted then it will be updated with the address the vendor enters in their account, and locked on your side.

Updating a locked vendor's information

If the vendor requests an update to their address, ask them to make the change in their Bill.com account, which will then update all of their Network connections. This will allow them to continue to get paid quickly to an accurate mailing address.
