Adding Sales Tax

How to add sales tax depends on what accounting software your account syncs with.

QuickBooks for Windows

Set up sales tax in QuickBooks using sales tax items, rates, and codes. The next time the sync is run, we will bring over the sales tax items into PayMaker. Then as invoices are created in PayMaker, we will show and calculate sales tax.

QuickBooks Online

Sales Tax Rates sync from QuickBooks Online to PayMaker, and invoice sales tax sync in both directions.

Xero, Intacct and NetSuite

Create a sales tax item in PayMaker. Then as invoices are created in PayMaker, we will show and calculate sales tax.

Other or No Accounting software

For accounting softwares that we do not have a direct integration with or if not using accounting software at all, create sales tax items manually or import your sales tax items.
