QuickBooks Online Sync Error: Business Validation Error: You must enter the email address for this customer in order to email statements.
Why the Sync Error occurs
This error occurs when an invoice marked to be emailed is attempting to sync to QuickBooks Online (QBO), but the customer is missing an email address in either PayMaker or QBO, or the email address is invalid.
How to Fix the Sync Error
There are two options to resolve this issue:
- Add a valid email address to the customer in PayMaker and QBO, then sync
- Uncheck the "To Be Emailed" box on the invoice in PayMaker, then sync
