QuickBooks for Windows: Receivables - Late fees
Creating invoices in QuickBooks for Windows
If charging customers late fees, QuickBooks creates a separate invoice for the amount of the finance or late charge. When sync is initiated, PayMaker gets the original invoice and the finance charge invoice. Both invoices appear on the website where customers log in to make payment.
Creating invoices in PayMaker
If creating invoices directly in PayMaker, we recommend a similar approach. Simply create a second invoice for the finance or late charge to the customer. The original invoice can also be edited to show the additional amount.
If you do not see the described feature available in PayMaker, you may not have access to the feature based on permissions for your role and/or your plan does not have this feature. If you wish to get access to the feature, please review the available plans for PayMaker and upgrade accordingly or contact the Administrator of your PayMaker account. Changes in monthly user fees may apply.
